A former churchwarden of Plumtree Church amassed a collection of glass negatives of photographs taken in and around Plumtree. After his death, the collection was passed to the current Rector for safe-keeping. The Rector has kindly made them available to this website, and they are published below for general interest.
The original photographs seem to have been taken by keen amateurs rather than by professional photographers, as there is no branding associated with their captions. The negatives have been scanned, changed into 'positives' and are presented here in their current condition, i.e. no attempt has been made to 'clean' them up.
