Elsie Astill was born on the 23rd October 1898 and baptised in Plumtree Church on 29th April 1900. She appears on the 1901 Plumtree census, aged 2.
She was married in Plumtree Church on 21st September 1918 (Age 20) to:
Albert Edward Lucas (Age 36). His real name was Albert Arthur Lebbern, Age 32 – born 26th April 1886 in Scholing Hound (Hampshire).
After Albert's death in 1951, Elsie married Sidney A Edwards, she died in the New Forest in 1982.
Baptised in Keyworth Church on 14 December 1845. His parents were William and Sarah.
Married Elizabeth Wilford in Plumtree Church on 27th February 1881 (Age 34).
Died 13th May 1903 "aged 55" (buried in Plumtree churchyard on 16th May 1903 with a gravestone, plot 292).

Married Edward Astill in Plumtree Church on 27th February 1881 (Age 26).
Buried in Plumtree churchyard on 6th September 1926 (Age 72). Exact plot location unknown.

Appears on the 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 Plumtree censuses as Elizabeth Astill.
Eliza Baptised Eliza Ann Wilford in Plumtree Church on 27th September 1879; mother's name Elizabeth Wilford, father's name not given.

Walter Huyton was a Private in the 2nd / 7th Battalion, The King's (Liverpool) Regiment. He died on 27th September 1918 and is buried at Anneux British Cemetery, France.
He is listed on the Plumtree War Memorial.
Ernest Privately baptised on 22nd May 1894 (location unknown).
He was a Corporal, 4th Special Company, Royal Engineers and was killed in action in France 13th October 1916.
His burial location is unknown; but he is commemorated on the Thiepval memorial, France.
He is listed on the Plumtree War Memorial and commemorated on Edward Astill’s gravestone, plot 292.
